This primal box was used when the contributor lived in Los Angeles and was a patient at the Primal Institute. The view is from the side. The door was next to the ladder, and someone slept on top.

This is a close-up view of the same primal box from the front. The small box which is jutting-out (upon which a pot plant rests) housed the ventilation fan, with the air-intake underneath. There was another at the back on the opposite side. One pulled air in, the other expelled the air, so there was a continuous stream of fresh air. |
This primal box was built and designed by engineer Henry Lugg for Tamara Starr. It is used in a garage. The roof foam is spaced away from the side wall to allow light to enter from the top. Unit has a fan and heater box (on top of unit) as well as four light boxes, one in each corner of its interior.

The foam in the interior is covered with red "rip stop" nylon. The three controls regulate the air, lights and heat. Unit has 2 mufflers which quiet the air flow and moderate the air pressure. Thanks to Tamara D. Starr for the photos. |
